The FJ-nail is a French style, short neck nail with a low, square crown head for V-fullered shoes. The design of the FJ-nail is very fluent in all transitions from head to neck to shank. The FJ-nail is ideal for shoeing race horses as the fit of the FJ-nail is optimal in thinner typed shoes, as well as trotting shoes. The FJ-slim nail is similar in design as the FJ nail with the only difference being an extra slim and extra long blade. The extra slim blade is especially for those horses with a poor hoof wall condition where the farrier wants to reduce hoof wall displacement to a maximum.
