Blacksmith Starback Komby LKCAB

The Blacksmith Starblack Komby LKCAB is a combination bar shoe suitable for sole protection, pedal bone osteitis, navicular syndrome, hoof cracks, digital flexor tendon injury and inferior ceck ligament desmitis.

The Startblack Komby is closed on the heels by a bar with a triple insert in the middle.  The bar and triple insert increase the surface area and support in the hind and central part of the hoof, thus avoiding extension of the coffin joint and reducing stress on the deep flexor tendon, the inferior ceck ligament and the navicular bone and give protection to the sole.

The bar helps to distribute the load on the heels more evenly reducing the load on other structures in cases of caudal cracks. The bar and triple insert allow the placing of support and protection products, can provide frog support and can be cut into an open toe heart bar shoe and Z-bar shoe to fit various foot problems. The stamps are punched at the same pitch as the hoof wall.
