The Blacksmith Blackout Asymmetric Wide Toe Front Horseshoe is suitable for horses with suspensory ligament sprains, distal limb deviations and subchondral bone lesions.
The wide branch of the horseshoe and the foot surface of it are flared to avoid pressure on the sole. In collateral ligament and suspensory ligament fetlock injuries the wide branch and the wide toe must be positioned under the lesion, the narrow branch is placed under subchondral bone lesions.
